About Jon Schmenk

Jon Schmenk Design, LLC is a golf course design firm founded in 2013 by Jon Schmenk. JSD specializes in golf course design, land planning, and construction observation services for clients in both the public and private sectors. Jon began his career in the golf industry working on the maintenance crew at SentryWorld Golf Course in Stevens Point, Wisconsin during his high school and college days. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Landscape Architecture, he worked golf course construction before moving into the golf design field.
